Dr. Kim Brownhill

Main Areas of Expertise Cell biology; Cell cycle; Molecular trafficking Secondary Areas of Expertise Endocytosis; Molecular motors; Cytoskeleton Biography Dr. Kim Brownhill gained a First Class BSc in Biology and completed her PhD on the function and regulation of kinesin-1, -2, and -3 at the University of Manchester. She performed research into the composition of the endosomal-specific ESCRT1 complex as a Research Associate at the Faculty of Life Science, University of Manchester, and contributed to the publication of several research articles. Kim has been a full-time scientific editor since 2011 and has edited upwards of 500 manuscripts and other scientific texts.
