Dr. Matthew Andrusiak

Main Areas of Expertise Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Developmental Biology, Genetics, Stem Cells, Regeneration Secondary Areas of Expertise Biochemistry, Cell Cycle, Cell Biology Biography Dr. Matthew Andrusiak received his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Ottawa. Dr. Andrusiak’s graduate work examined the role of the retinoblastoma protein during nervous system development and maintenance using mouse models, primary neuronal culture and molecular biology. Dr. Andrusiaks’s postdoctoral work is focused on studying the mechanisms that restrict axon regeneration in the adult nervous system using a combination of genetics, live imaging and molecular biology. Dr. Andrusiak has extensive experience in manuscript preparation as evidenced by multiple peer reviewed publications, as well as manuscript reviewing for many top-tier journals.
