Dr. Dolores Mruk

Main Areas of Expertise Reproductive Physiology; Endocrinology; Developmental Biology; Molecular Biology Biography Dr. Dolores Mruk is currently studying male reproductive physiology at the Center for Biomedical Research, Population Council in New York. Her research focuses on understanding how Sertoli and germ cells in the testis communicate with each other and how these interactions can be transiently disrupted. Her research findings are being translated into identifying safe and reversible male contraceptives with the aim of curbing future population growth in developing countries. She has published over 150 peer-reviewed research articles, reviews and book chapters in top-tier journals such as Journal of Cell Science, The FASEB Journal and Endocrinology.
