Dr. Harriet McWatters

Main Areas of Expertise Plant science, Quantitative genetics, Circadian clock, Molecular biology Secondary Areas of Expertise Plant biochemistry, Evolutionary biology, Molecular genetics Biography Dr. Harriet McWatters holds a first class degree and a PhD from the University of Edinburgh and was a Royal Society University Research Fellow in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Oxford. She has an extensive track record of publications in the fields of plant science, quantitative and molecular genetics, and circadian biology (plant, parasite and insect clocks). She has considerable experience in working with colleagues and supervising students for whom English is a second language, and has worked as a guest editor for journals and as a book editor.
